Our client in the process control industry is looking for a Production Planner/Scheduler. The candidate’s background should be strong in capacity planning using Oracle ideally integrated with manufacturing execution automation solutions. The emphasis must be on the individual’s capacity planning automation experience. They should have APICS-CPIM. Should have demonstrated interaction with routings, utilization, load, alternate routings, prioritization of planned vs unplanned and ideally has directly implemented capacity planning automation tools. Focus of position is to ensure parts and supplies are received, distributed, and shipped in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
· Will oversee the entire supply chain: purchasing, scheduling of parts used in production, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and building maintenance.

Medical company seeks planner who will be responsible for:
issuing and tracking work orders, maintaining Master Production Schedule based on published S & OP. · Responsible to develop and implement Master Schedule from Backlog and forecast based on agreed upon S & OP published plan.
· Track and report daily shipments for line items and full order shipped to plan
· Create, train and implement best practices through written policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
· Strong knowledge of ERP systems
· Fourth Shift ERP or If no Forth Shift then in depth experience with several ERP systems experience is mandatory
· Able to determine root cause an implement corrective actions to improve processes.
· Several years experience maintaining Master Production Schedule based on published S & OP
· Expertise in developing production schedules and maintaining inventory
· Ability to work well with others to help manage change in the organization
Location: Lexington / Burlington MA
Compensation to 76K base salary

Director of Manufacturing
Responsibilities include: overseeing 2 plants on 2 coasts, ramping up production and managing manufacturing operations through extreme expansion.

• Oversee all production processes from building material intake to the end product
• Train and motivate work force; Manage trade professionals and production workers
• Optimize asset utilization
• Interface with design; Enhance product designs; Ensure manufacturability
• Develop processes, procedures and documentation methodologies
• Oversee supply chain management
• Continuously improve quality and efficiency
• Utilize LEAN techniques to drive operational excellence and improve product margin
• Develop and monitor budgets; Maintain labor costs; Set work rates

Key Requirements

Director of Manufacturing

This start up is experiencing high growth creating the need for a senior executive to run a 30M manufacturing operation. This position reports to the GM.
Oversee production, planning, purchasing, warehousing, manufacturing engineering and facilities, and quality.
Design strategies, evaluate workflow +methods and implement process improvements
Oversight of scheduling, staffing, and team building for 45 person manufacturing group
Develop employee training programs.
Create a cost effective budget to ensure manufacturing while producing the highest possible revenues and margins.
Establish ISO system to ensure a company wide effort of continual improvement and documentation of all manufacturing processes.
Initiate and establish of relationships with contract manufacturers.
Qualifications:

BS degree -- prefer technical degree
15+ years of Manufacturing Management directly responsible for manufacturing operations, quality, process, supply management, and team building
Record of managing plant operations taking a company from start up mentality to a fully functional, continually improving manufacturing enterprise
Must have RECENT start up or small company, hands on plant management experience (and ideally larger company experience in the past)
· Proven expertise creating, implementing and managing to operational metrics, process standardization and SOP execution
Relevant industries/products/processes: discrete manufacturing: computers, instruments, medical diagnostic equipment, complex electro mechanical equipment, scientific products,
moderate volume, complete systems with software, manual and semi automated assembly. (consumables/plastics manufacturing and secondary operations is a plus)
